The backdrops of database you'll need to get started is very simple. For First, you really need one, and one I would start with a white vinyl base. And you can very well take this into account in any any craft store. They will run you around $ 20 to $ 30. They come in 6 foot widths and I'd probably get cut from 12 to 15 feet long. This will give enough room when you want to adjust the position of the subject or anything, but I would go with that. And there are a couple of different reasons, I would start with white. You can get really great pictures on the white and simply save them like that and the subject will stand out. It will look clean and pure. It is a very nice look.
Photographers speaks like a shooting high-key. Now the other reason my main reason to tell you to use White vinyl because it will make your life easier when you want to cut that image and post-editing in the software that I'll go with you on how to do. And then you can take this and put it in any digital environment, all digital accessory you want. It's very, very powerful. But the white vinyl makes a beautiful backdrop for this.
Black is my second choice for the same reason. You can get some really great photos black. You can print them and they can be fantastic. And the other thing is when you cut an image on a black background, and if you are Place in a black background, once you cut it blend easier. It will be nice. So that's another reason to use the back. But you can always do it with white.
Green is my third choice. You do not have a green, but green, it will be easier to cut and because it's a solid, if I would go with green for my third. My first would be white. Second would be black. And the third is also called Green Chroma Key.
Now, you'll need a stand for these environments to hang. So let's go over them real quick. I would go with stand 8 feet wide. Now you can go in any store photography supply for booths and decorations. I'll link to some stores of different background in the Resources section. But you can get a booth at any one of these places and they are quite cheap. But you want to make sure it is portable. If you want to make the cheapest way, and I think it would be just as good, you could build one yourself.
It's very simple. It will be mostly PVC pipe that you buy at a Home Depot or Lowes or any hardware store. But it is because it is portable. You can take it apart really easy. There are no sharp edges. It really, truly universal. So that's what's nice about that. But you need a stand. And you'll have it at least 8 feet in width and height must be you are at least 4 – to 6 feet tall. So what you look for in a booth. But you'll need a stand. And the accessories are pretty simple. Just a few spring clips for provide the backdrop. It makes it easier when you attach the decoration of your stand. And it useful to have around other things you might need to. If you are in a certain location, you might consider that clip and secure your backdrop for a chair or something. But the clips are clear and easy to use and a very versatile tool, you'll see that you probably use again and again.
The scoreboard is blank to fill in your shades and direct light. Now, if you're outside, you may see that the sun is on one side and you want to bounce the light of other side. You'll use the white poster board for that. Or you have an overcast sky and you see that you need to complete the other side, and you'll just bring the poster board around the other side. Or maybe you are inside and you see that your lighting is really a brilliant side, but you want to fill in the other. This is even easier than using a two-light early. We use in fact one soft box and a large white wall in our studio. It works very well. You will use this poster in white card. Now, they sell reflectors and you can buy a professional reflector. They are not that expensive. But the scoreboard White gives you nearly the same results.
