Do I have a high GPA? What types of schools were "impressed" by this GPA? What kind of schools I could get in? My GPA is 3.78 I'm in the top half of my class 65 out of 200 (yeah I know is a kind of bad) AP Modern Europe all honors classes Extra's: Modern Music History Photographic Communications / Publications Publisc Speaking Course I got my book published in a literary art magazine that I have done over 150 hours of community service I attend the annual pilgrimages ProLife Relay for life (for cancer) every year, I'm also working part time 3 days per week reading SAT: 610 Writing: 600 Math: 540 I really want go to Pepperdine University or Boston, I want to get a doctorate in clinical psychology after I have my BA!
Your GPA is very good but you need to raise your SAT scores * lot * to examine the same schools. Your score in mathematics should be about 650. Your score should be reading 640. Your writing must be 670. And all results are in the middle of the Pepperdine and Boston to go, so you should take to the top. Since you have low scores on all parts of the SAT, I suggest you take a class. You will also need to work on your own. You should read more, it will improve both reading scores and writing.
