Local Iowa dentist Dr. Flenker is a permanent resident of Council Bluffs. A graduate 1972 of Abraham Lincoln High School, he attended college at Creighton University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1976, followed by a doctorate of dental surgery in 1980. Dr. Flenker is a member of the Sioux City Dental Society, which focuses on continuing education. He also attended the Dental Business Mastery program in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Flenker is married to Deb and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. His hobbies are photography and sculpture wood and is an avid hunter. He is a member of the Community of Christ Church.
