photography history timeline
The word photography is derived from the Greek "graphein" (to draw) and "photos" (light). The researcher John Herschel was the first man use this term in the year 1839. Therefore, photography is a way to use light to record images on a support-sensitive material. With the aid of light, images can be taken on a suitable medium.
The First Image
On a summer day In 1827, Joseph Niepce, a French, managed to create the first frame after working for eight hours on it. His companion, Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre was able to reduce the exposure time thirty minutes more to prevent the image from disappearing. The daguerreotype
Daguerre invented the process more convenient for the development of photographs. Daguerre was born near Paris, France.
