photography lessons chicago

What is the best place to take photography classes in Chicago?
It depends on what you want to learn, and what you think is "the best". chicago photography center – www.chicagophoto.org – is a long-term program that has a great reputation. It is intensive: for the basic course (Photo I-III) you will spend time at conferences, and then return to the darkroom sessions. (If you take the film class, you develop your own film at home and use the time to darkroom to make prints.) CPC is a non-profit and you get a lot of your money for classes. Harold Washington City College also has a comprehensive list of photography classes. The Art Institute's Continuing Ed Division started the photography course is always strongly recommended by surveys in the Chicago magazine. I also took a week of intensive film debut at Roosevelt University. It may be a little more a stretch – 9-5 each day for one week at a private college sticker price – but it was a great experience. You take in the morning is develop around lunch, and make prints in the afternoon. Prompt treatment is easier to understand how different elements exposure occur. So many options. Depends on what you need a class, what kind of time commitment you can do and how much you spend.
