photography tricks and tips

Any tips or good photography tips for aircraft and jet fighters and aircraft?

I'm going to an airshow. Does anyone have any good tips or suggestions to start good pictures of jets and planes? I use Nikon D80 with 18-200mm

Parked or flying? Parked try to find unusual positions to take pictures. Standard plans are directly from the side or front to the side. Take a right picture down the nose and tail. Flying, I'll play during the day, so work in Shutter Priority mode and set your shutter speed faster you can, while maintaining a good opening (F8 or higher). If it requires adjusting your ISO, try not to go over 800 to avoid noise. (I do not remember if the D80 has an ISO 100 or not, but I think so.) But the day you should be able to take 100 or 200 ISO and still have good speed and aperture. Plan your arm tired as you are holding it with both hands and panning lot, waiting for the perfect shot. What show?
