photography contract wedding
A photographer has used a photo without permission, Where am I?

Hello … A few years ago I had a photographer come round my home to discuss wedding photography. I have 4 cats, which he was very taken with and proposed to take some pictures of them .. He has did and I received a CD and a little of all printouts free. We booked for our wedding and paid £ 350 deposit that we have subsequently lost that we had to cancel the wedding. I recently saw an advertisement in our local veterinarians and pet photography of a photographer under pictrure pet on their website with a photo of my cats … He did not ask permission, but there was no contract of employment or paper that shoots .. Where do I stand with this? I just think its abit cheeky not ask … Any advice there?

He asked permission to photograph the cat. You've given them. You've paid for giving you a CD and prints. Basically the UK, he can do what he wants with the plans he has copyright in the United Kingdom and there is no obligation for all versions of every description. There is nothing you TBH I can do and do not even know why you ask. These are cats Goddammit.
