What do you think Ansel Adams would be thinking of digital photography / photoshop? ?
Today I watched a documentary on it (photography course) and his photograph and asked me what he could of done with digital photography / Photoshop or that would not the beloved of all. I'm just curious what others think, thank you:) nope not pbs, I do not remember who made it if it is old
They asked him that question before his death, he said he would have used the latest technology available, including Photoshop, if they had had at the time. Ansel Adams was a master in the darkroom, he spent hours and hours of editing images using the latest technologies at the time. Some images he was never satisfied, modify years later to get them to watch the way he wanted. Ansel Adams believed firmly get the picture right the first time, but he still spent hours and hours in the darkroom. These are people who do bad editing photoshop giving such a bad reputation. Done properly, you can not tell if an image has been manipulated or not. On the other hand, you can decide you want people to see that the image was edited and do digital art that is not possible by simply using the camera alone. You can not rely on photoshop to fix the images. In most cases, the image must be basically good to start – good composition, good lighting, good colors – to benefit from photoshop.
